The Yosakoi Festival is a festival that started in Kochi in 1954, "Let's blow away the recessionary winds of the time and cheer up the citizens."
Every year, about 190 teams and 20,000 dancers participate in the Yosakoi Festival on August 10th and 11th, and perform energetic dances at 16 competition halls and performance halls in Kochi City.
Each team will give their own unique costumes, music, and choreography, and the city will be surrounded by the Yosakoi Festival.
The Yosakoi Festival Eve Festival is held on August 9, and the Yosakoi Festival Afternoon Festival and Yosakoi National Convention are held on August 12.
The teams are divided into teams that aim to win prizes and teams that enjoy dancing, but the spectators give equal support to both teams and liven up the Yosakoi Festival.

The "Muroto 2000 Sakura Festival" is the earliest cherry blossom festival in Japan and is held every Sunday at the end of February at Muroto Regional Park.
There are 1780 cherry trees of 35 types planted in the park, and more cherry blossoms bloom earlier than in ordinary parks.
At the Sakura Festival, branch store selling udon-noodle and sushi will be exhibited, as well as events such as singing, dancing, and musical instrument performances will be shown and will be appreciated by many spectators.
My memory is that in late winter, We sold warm South American and African coffee with international students from Burkina Faso and the Philippines.
They are now back home and are attending our online events from their homeland.

Every October, some towns in Kochi begin preparing for the "Cosmos Festival".
The cosmos festival, which has the ability to attract customers, is a major event in the town and plays a leading role in regional development.
The flowering status of Cosmo is posted daily on the website, so many tourists concentrate on weekends when it is expected to be in full bloom.
The weekend venue is full of families and young couples, like an autumn festival.
Children in the area are less interested in cosmos and enjoy the junk food sold at the venue stalls.
A young couple enters a cosmos field, takes a picture surrounded by cosmos and uploads it to Instagram.
Recently, I feel happiness and happiness while quietly watching the couples and families in the cosmos field.
The Kochi Cosmos Festival was canceled last year and this year due to the influence of the corona, but people who still want to see cosmos go to the nearby cosmos field.
There are no stalls in the cosmos fields, but the beauty of cosmos is the same as usual.

There is Tosa Shrine in Ikku, Kochi City. The "Great Festival" held at Tosa Shrine on August 24th and 25th every year is familiarly called "Shinane-sama" by the people of Kochi City.
This "Shinane-sama" is one of the three major festivals of Tosa, and from the evening of the 24th, many street vendors line up in the long precincts and it is crowded with many worshipers.
In Kochi, it is said that "summer begins with Ritual through a hole in a big tree (June 30th) and ends with Shinanesama (August 25th)." And at the same time as the end of "Shinane-sama", the children's summer vacation will end.
